I moved this past weekend. It was a beast. I downsized from my own two-bedroom condo to one bedroom in a house with two of my friends. I had a lot of stuff. Too much stuff. There was a yard sale involved and the selling of various furniture pieces. I'm exhausted. (And obviously whiney too!)

My cherished floral couch — I called it Anthropologie-chic — went to the cool couple Dan and Candice Lanning of the Beautiful Mess. And my dresser, which was my aunts when she was a little girl that I repainted, to Cassandra from Blue Sky Studios, and the vintage bed from my maternal grandmother to Anne Markey of Favor Me Events. In short, some of my favorite Charlotte event pros scooped up my goods and for a steal.


In the midst of emptying box by box (someone pour me another glass of wine!) I stumbled upon the shutter shades from my sweet friend Kate's Cinco De Mayo Wedding (dubbed Cinco de Dullaghan and photographed by the darling Nancy and Will of Nancy Ray Photography) and had to had some fun with the pooch.
