Who designed these and what was their inspiration?

Exactly what shoes would you wear with them?

Do they make noise when you walk?

Can you feel the tassles slapping the backs of your calves?

Are they itchy?

And most importantly, WHO-in-their-right-mind would wear them? (At $88, who would actually buy them?)

I know fringe is all-the-rage this season, but, this is where Swanky draws the line ... unless, of course, you're planning to dress as Mr. Ed for Halloween?
