WHAT Black & Blue
WHO Cheryl Little saw a void in the Charlotte shopping market: no storefront with a heavy focus on denim for women and men. Her solution: Black & Blue, a boutique dedicated to offering designer denim lines including fashion favorites (Habitual), up-and-coming lines (Ksubi), men’s and women’s wear (we love the Delilah top by Revolver, $92), and accessories.
VIBE Clean and contemporary with black exposed ceilings and white walls. Designer jeans are displayed on the “denim wall”—a custom-made cubicle unit showcasing men’s and women’s lines.
SPEND Ladies, pick up Anlo’s classic Trouser Style denim pant with slant pockets and button-flap back pockets ($205). Gents, try on the latest from designer Kasil ($195 to $205), a favorite of Brad Pitt and Matthew Fox.
