Weekend Ahead: Charlotte Observer Local Blogging Panel

As a lifestyle blogger (swankypeach and bride + groom) I've been asked to speak on a panel at this weekend's Hyper-local Publishing and Blogging 101 seminar sponsored by the Charlotte Observer.

I'm looking forward to sharing information, tips and knowledge (I hope I know as much as attendees expect me to!) with guests and meeting other bloggers in Charlotte. I hear I'll be in the company of other speakers like Rick Thames of the Charlotte Observer's site, an old-friend Jarvis Halliday (we're both from Augusta, Ga. and University of South Carolina grads) of Grown People Talking, and the fellas behind so I'm definitely looking forward to it!

It's a sold-out event — for a mere $10 it's well worth a few hours on your Saturday — and runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Observer building. A big thanks to Alicia Roberts for asking me to participate!

Will you be attending? If so, leave a comment here but also be sure to come say hello on Saturday!
