Times are tough, people

So, I made dinner in exchange for a haircut last night.

Meredith made a (free) house call and I whipped up homemade tofu fried rice (she doesn't eat meat) in exchange. 

It was deeeelish, and my hair looks much healthier (and shorter!) but I think it was a fair trade. Aaaand, I'm loving my hair cut.

I'd love to hear about ways you have been creative about spending/saving in this economy ....
